General: Costume Rentals are for a 1-3 day rental period. (A day to pick it up, a day to use it and a day to return it). A cost of 15% per day will be charged on extended rentals. If the rental is for a week or longer, a 50% per week extra charge will be allocated to the rental fee. Special rates are available for large productions that require a numerous amount of costumes over an extended period of time. These rates depend on the types of costumes rented and the amount of time they are needed. Our costume shop is available to quote on your specific requirements. Halloween Policy: You can rent any full costume starting October 1st for the basic 1-3 day fee and keep it until November 1st. There are a few exceptions - Mascots, licensed Superheroes and Villains, and Suits of Armour. These exceptions are available for the standard 3-day rental. You can book your Halloween costume starting September 1st. Payment in full is due at the time of booking. Halloween costumes cannot be reserved without payment, therefore we will not accept reservations over the telephone. There are no refunds. Only full costumes are rented for the Halloween season - no separate pieces will be available for rent during October.
Alterations:
Alteration fees are included in our rental prices and require 3-5 days to be completed.
During Halloween, alterations are free up to the 14th of October. After the 14th, an alteration cost of $25 is applied to rentals, and no alterations will be done in the last week of October due to business volume.
Cleaning:
All costumes are dry-cleaned after each use and these costs are included in the rental fee.
Security Deposit:
A valid credit card is required as a security deposit on all rentals. There are no exceptions. If you are unable to come in to the store and present your credit card in person, we require either a faxed photocopy or an emailed scan of the front and back of your card. Any loss or damage to the costume will be assessed and a repair or replacement fee will be charged.
